Chocolate and White Chip Cookies

 I got a recipe off of Tasteofhome.com and tweaked it. The following is my tweaked version, They turned out yummy, especially with a glass of cold milk!

Ingredients:
*2/3 C. shortening          
*10 1/2 Tbs. Butter, softened            
*1 C. sugar
* 1 C. packed brown sugar              
*2 eggs
*2 teaspoons vanilla extract
*3 1/2 C. all-purpose flower
*1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
*1 tsp. salt
*1 C. Chocolate chips
*1 C. White chips

**Preheat oven to 375
**In a large bowl, cream shortening, butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. fold in the chips.


***Roll dough into balls a little smaller than a golf ball and place on baking sheet. I used a baking stone.


**Bake at 375 for 13-15 minutes. Yield: Aprox. 2 dozen
